Meissen Style Gilt Metal Mounted Painted Porcelain Snuff Box, painted in polychrome enamels and gilding with Eighteenth Century style lutanist entertaining a female figure seated in rustic surround; generic landscape scenes to sides. Underglaze blue crossed exes to underside, more probably French, 19th Century.

To left side center of lid, 1" crack with circling interior crack, surface wear, scratches, metal hinge patinated.
