Meissen Porcelain Figure of Europa and the Bull, after an original model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein, the figure mounted on the bull, garlanded with floral swags, with two attendants below, all on a low mounded base. Painted in polychrome enamels and gilding. To base underside, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, incised 2697 and hand written red 23.

Cracks and losses to flower basket, several small losses to other leaves and flower petals, a few minuscule firing flaws, light pitting.  Base rim with some rubbing, finish loss, small line shaped imperfection that looks like a scar, underside with wear and rubbing.
