Modelled after Johann Joachim Kaendler (German, 1706 - 1775). Painted in shades of blue, purple, yellow, red, orange, green, black and white enamel.
Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue to rear of base, pressnummer incised 62 and b, impressed 6.

3/8" section of beak top and 1 1/4" section of bottom part of beak including tongue, broken off and glued back on, overpainted. Minor surface wear and scratches.
