Meissen Porcelain Dinner Service, lightly scalloped rims with gilt bands, painted in polychrome enamels and gilding with scattered floral sprigs.  Comprising 22 dinner plates, 9 13/16" diameter with variation, 12 luncheon plates, 8 3/8" diameter, 10 dessert plates, 7 7/16" diameter, 12 soup bowls, 9 1/4" diameter with variation, 10 cups, 2 3/8" high x 4 1/8" wide with handle x 3 3/8" deep, 10 saucers, 5 3/16" diameter, coffee pot with cover 10" high x 7 3/4" wide with handle x 5 3/4" deep, teapot with handle 5 13/16" high x 9 1/2" wide x 6" deep, cream jug with handle 5 7/8" high x 6" wide x 4 1/8" deep, sugar bowl with cover 4 5/8" high x 4 11/16" diameter, oblong serving platter 21 7/8" long x 10 9/16" wide, oval platter 2 3/8" high x 18 5/16" long x 13 1/8" wide, round serving dish 2 1/4" high x 12 1/8" diameter, soup tureen with cover 11 1/2" high x 14 1/4" wide x 9 3/4" deep, vegetable tureen with cover 6" high x 11 1/4" wide x 8 11/16" deep, sauce tureen with cover and attached underplate 6 3/4" high x 10 1/4" wide x 6 1/4" deep, gravy boat with handles and attached underplate 4 1/8" high x 10 3/8" wide x 7" deep, serving spoon 8 5/8" long x 1 13/16" wide (total number of pieces, not including covers: 88).  Base undersides with crossed swords marks in underglaze blue, some pieces also impressed with letters and/or numerals, and some with black or brown enamel numerals.

Minor wear overall. Includes surface scratches, minuscule nicks, several pieces with small chips, some small, shallow abrasions, mostly minor rubbing to gilt rims, some underside base rims with discoloration. Vegetable tureen and sauce tureen covers with losses to small leaves. Porcelain with some minor imperfections, shallow bubbles, pitting as made.
