Artist's Bio: Matthew Grabelsky is an American oil painter celebrated for his hyperrealistic surrealist works, best known for portraying human-animal hybrid figures calmly navigating the New York City subway. By placing these mythological, anthropomorphic characters within the ordinary routines of urban commuting, Grabelsky creates a compelling contrast between the familiar and the fantastical.
Condition
Surface dust. No inpainting under UV light. Minor dirt pockets verso. Overall, in very good condition. Framed: 11 1/4" H x 8 3/4 W.
