Mata Ortiz Pottery Figural Turtle Bowl, the body of squat form, molded with the head, legs and tail of a turtle, with four babies applied to the upper riim, their heads aloft, and with applied feathers to one side. Painted in shades of black with geometric designs, the interior well painted with stylized fish and turtles. Incised signature in script to base underside, "Martha Martinez Dguez," for Martha Martinez Dominguez.Togehter with a cast iron base, with felted ring.
