Marcus Homer Native American Zuni Pottery Basket Bowl. Snake form handle with yarn and fur to head, and body wrapping around the bowl, the bowl with stepped edge partially modeled into cliffside ruins, small frogs and ruin to center accent the bowl; painted in browns, cream, black, white, blue, red, orange. The underside with "MARCUS HOMER '95 ZUNI, NM", also comes with first prize ribbon from the "Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial" in Gallup New Mexico 1995, note card to reverse has information matching the bowl. {Approximate dimensions: 5 1/4" high x 9" diameter.}.
Condition
Very light to minimal wear. A few minuscule paint losses to painted ruinous areas.
