Marc Chagall (Russian, 1887-1985), Three Volumes of Text from the Bible Series. The volumes consist of Bible I and two Bible II. All are incomplete. Two volumes are housed in gray box, [approximate dimensions - sheet (each): 17 1/4" H x 13 1/4" W, box: 14 1/8" H x 18 5/8" W x 5 1/2" D].

Each sheet shows minor toning and handling wear. Overall, sheets are in good condition. Bible I has loss in back cover of volume. Bible II volume covers show moderate wear and fraying of binding. Gray house shows moderate damage with tape repair. All have accretions.
