Louis XV Style Rosewood Bonhour du Jour, concertina cover to writing surface, below niches, below upper section, all overcast above lyre form legs. Late 19th Century, with later additions.

{Approximate dimensions:  33" high when closed x 37" wide x 18 1/4" deep.}.

Some nicks, scratches, black stains, finish loss. Right side with loss to about 8 3/8" strip of trim to right edge of liftable top, and to about 2 3/4" underside edge above leg structure. Wear and scuffs to hinged inside edges that are exposed when top is folded back.
