(Lot of Two) Chinese Archaistic Bronze Jian and Jue. The Jian with a long pointed blade with beveled edges and a long median ridge, the ribbed handle with a simple guard ending in a flattened concave pommel, the Jue with a deep u-shaped body with low-relief vertical flanges of taotie masks, supported on three angled pointed legs, below the curved spouted rim with two large upright finials. {Jian 17 inches long (43 cm), Jue 7 7/8 inches high (20 cm)}.
