(Lot of Two) Burmese Lacquered Offering Stand and Manuscript. The offering stand with its multi layered wood finial resting upon an elaborately waisted base, overall painted with gilt geometric and figural paintings on a red lacquered ground, the manuscript unfolds ink on paper leaves between two wood covers, each finished in red and gilt lacquer. {Vessel 31 high x 15 inches diameter (79 x 38 cm), manuscript 18 7/8 inches long (48 cm)}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Condition: Surface wear, scratches. Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
