Large Chinese Horse Figure with Stone Inlays. Modeled standing in profile with head raised and mouth slightly open, the figure constructed of light-toned material carved with an overall geometric incised pattern. The body fitted with decorative metal mounts inset with colored stones applied along the shoulder, flank, and hindquarters. The saddle area is indicated with relief carving, and the tail curves upward at the rear. Mounted on a rectangular black stand. {Approximate dimensions: height 60 inches x width 63 inches x depth 16 inches, including stand}.

Surface shows scattered wear, discoloration, and small losses consistent with age and handling. Some stone inlays and metal mounts show wear and possible minor losses.
