Large Chinese Bronze Horse on Base. A large Chinese bronze sculpture of a standing horse cast in robust proportion, shown with one foreleg raised and tail swept back in a quiet S-curve. The surface carries an aged patina in mixed tones of malachite-green, burnt umber and soft mineral bloom, revealing natural oxidation across the body, joints and facial profile. The horse is mounted to a plain rectangular wooden base with a dark finish. {Approximate dimensions - overall with base: 21 H x 23 W x 8 D inches}.
