Korean Celadon Glazed Maebyong Vase. Of elegant maebyong form with a narrow waisted neck and rounded shoulders, the vessel covered in a soft green celadon glaze. The surface is decorated with multiple roundels enclosing floral motifs, set against a ground of scattered foliate designs. Near the lower body, upright lappet panels encircle the base, each containing dotted accents. Areas of natural glaze pooling and minor kiln marks are visible throughout. {Approximate dimensions - height 11 inches}.
