Keyston Tooled Leather and Sterling Silver Parade Saddle, the horn, gullet and cantle of chased silver, and with silver decorated fenders, tapaderos, romel, nose and brow bands, bridle, reins, and breast collar. Previously owned by and used by Beverly Baxter, Santa Rosa Keyston Saddlery was founded in 1868 and became San Francisco's premier saddle maker. This saddle dates to circa 1950 and later.

The saddle is tooled with roses, bucking broncos, and some of the silver conchos are gilt vermeil, with chased bucking broncos, walking cowboys, etc. Tooled  and stamped "14" to the rear jockey at lowest center point; "KEYSTON BROS SAN FRANCISCO ESTD 1866." Scratch incised DO558090 and indistinct letter and 8652.

This lot also includes a group of saddle parts for a second saddle, including tooled and untooled leather panels, reins, bridle, martingale, and decorative straps.
