Kestner Bisque Head Doll 168 08. Blue sleep eyes with open mouth, composition body, porcelain lower arms, pale yellow satin polyester wedding dress over Victorian cotton and lace undergarments. Dress, veil and pins with faux pearls, circa 1949. Back of head incised Made in Germany over 168 and 08. 

Her wedding dress is a facsimile of the dress worn by her owner in 1949, and for which the owner won the Second Premium Award of Home Economics Sweepstakes, at the California State Fair and Exposition, 1966.

The bisque head in very good condition, with minimal surface wear, the composition hands dirty, and appear inelegant next to the doll itself.  Minor dirt and wear to clothing; veil torn from veil trim.
