Josef Albers (German/American, 1888-1976), Two screenprints on Mohawk Superfine Bristol paper from the "Formulation Articulation" 1972 portfolio; including (i) "Repeated and Not Repeated," P1, F26, I1, [sheet: 15" H x 20" W], text verso: "Portfolio I, Folder 26," in pen, "Copyright 1972 by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. and Ives-Sillman, Inc," and a blindstamp verso; and (ii) Homage to the Square, Green, [sheet: 15" H x 19 7/8" W], text on verso: "Josef Albers" and "Formulation Articulation."

Both sheets are taped to backboard verso and mats have a clear film, shows accretions, and handling wear. (i) Sheet shows light pencil markings recto and abrasions on the plate at upper and right area. Matted: 20" H x 24 5/8" W. (ii) Foxing throughout the sheet. Matted: 20 1/8" H x 22 1/4" W. Dimensions provided are based on approximate measurements.
