JOHANN MONGELS CULVERHOUSE (Dutch, 1820/25 - 1891/95) Figures Ice Skating, 1866, oil on canvas, (approximate dimensions - sight: 27-1/2 x 43-3/4 inches, canvas: 28 x 44 inches); signed "JM Culverhouse" and dated at lower right. Condition: Surface dust, accretions, craquelure, minor inpaint under UV light; two patch repairs (at center and one at left behind a stretcher bar), dirt pockets, and keys at verso. Ask Fine Arts Department for additional photos. Notes: Frame has wear, approximate dimensions - framed: 33-1/2 x 49-7/8 inches.
