JEAN-AGUSTE-DOMINIQUE INGRES (French, 1780 1867), two portraits consisting of (i) Jean Baptiste Joseph Delambre, Astronomer; and (ii) de Riviera; pencil drawings on paper, (approximate dimensions - sight (i) 3-1/4 x 3 inches and (ii) 3-5/8 x 3-1/2 inches), both inscribed of portrait and signed; both have labels verso: 'Bequeathed to the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.' Condition: Both sheets toned, slight foxing, and abrasions. Ask Fine Arts Department for additional photos. Notes: This lot includes two photocopies of invoices. Approximate dimensions - framed (each) 11-1/4 x 10-1/2 inches.
