(Lot of 4) Japanese Satsuma and Cloisonne Vessels, including Hododa and Ryozan. Comprising: a small vase with a long cylindrical body under a short neck and everted mouth, the body worked in gilt wire in varying gauge with an all-over design of geometric background enclosing panels of dragon, phoenix, and butterfly motifs; a small satsuma petal form bowl painted on the interior and exterior with various figures and black dragon, the bottom bearing Hodada mark; a small hexagonal vase with body painted with gilt and polychrome enamels featuring panels of ladies in court and deities in mountains, the shoulder bearing fan shape panels each decorated with varying geometric texture; and one ovoid vase, the body painted with two opposing panels of birds and flowers and two opposing panels of lady figures within polychrome cherry blossom and geometric frames, the base bearing Ryozan mark. {Height 7 inches (18 cm)}.
