Japanese Kakejiku Hanging Scroll Depicting the Seven Lucky Gods, Shichifukujin.
Ink and color on silk hanging scroll depicting the Shichifukujin, Seven Lucky Gods gathered together in a lively composition. The figures include Daikokuten, Ebisu holding a large fish, Hotei, Fukurokuju, Jurōjin, Benzaiten, and Bishamonten. The deities are shown grouped together in flowing robes and expressive poses against a plain ground. Signed lower right with red seal. {Approximate dimensions: image 37 1/4 x 16 inches}.
