Japanese Imari Porcelain Charger, Edo to Meiji period, of lobed, scalloped form, decorated in underglaze blue and iron-red enamels with accents of green. The interior is divided into panels featuring floral sprays and stylized landscape elements, framed by a bold iron-red border with cartouches and scrolling motifs.
The asymmetrical panel design and vibrant palette are characteristic of Imari ware, produced for both domestic use and export, reflecting the dynamic decorative style associated with Japanese porcelain of the period.
