Japanese Bronze Archer Figure, 20th Century. Cast as a kneeling archer in dynamic pose, the figure shown drawing a bow with the left arm extended and the right arm pulled back, holding an arrow poised for release. Wearing stylized armor and garments with incised detailing to the folds and surface, the head turned slightly in the direction of aim.
