Italian Silk Velvet Applique Panel in Two Sections, the applique of stylized flowering foliage between banded borders. Green ground, with green velvet banded edges; green, red, ocher, and blue velvet appliques, with off white and pink silk threads. Late 17th Century, remounted on a later backing circa 1920.

Areas of white silk shattered, and with losses to threads, some loose threads, breaks to stitching on band borders, etc. Green ink stains, and with green outlines to some of the appliques.
