Ira Yeager (American, 1938 - 2022), Pair of Portraits, oil and mixed media on canvas, (i) "Non Semper Erit Aetas," (Age Will Not Alway Be), "Peasant Woman with Floral Basket," [approximate dimensions - canvas: 70 1/4" H x 28 5/8" W], signed lower left and annotated "1785" lower right; "It will not always be summer" handwritten in paint and gallery label at verso; (ii) "Nil Novi SVB Sole," (I Don't Know Anything About You), "Peasant Man with Floral Basket," [approximate dimensions - canvas: 70 1/4" H x 28 3/4" W], signed lower left "Von Yager" and annotated "1785" lower right; "There is nothing new under the sun" handwritten in paint and gallery label at verso.
Condition
(i) Overall good condition with some surface dust and grime; (ii) surface dust and grime, puncture hole at left shoulder measuring 1/4". Dirt pockets at verso. Each work unframed and artist painted borders along three sides. Ask Fine Art Department for additional photos.
