Indian Tulwar Sword with Damascus Blade. The hilt with gilt metal inlay (koftgari), dense floral and foliate motif, large disc form pommel, the curved damascus or wootz steel blade with fluting. 19th century or older. {Approximate dimensions: 35 1/2" long.}.
Condition
Hole drilled to pommel terminus, likely original for hanging tassel or charm. Blade with wear, sharpenings, and small rust spots; slight bend towards end.
