Gump's and Gorham Sterling Weighted Candlesticks and Compote. Comprising pair of Gump's weighted candlesticks, pair of Gorham weighted candlesticks, and one Gorham weighted compote (total number of pieces: 5). Gump's candlesticks impressed to the underside with "GUMP'S / SAN FRANCISCO / STERLING WEIGHTED / 745", one Gorham candlestick impressed to the underside with "GORHAM / STERLING / CEMENT FILLED / REINFORCED / WITH ROD / 639" and the other the same except with "WITH ROD OF / OTHER METAL / 639", and Gorham compote impressed with "GORHAM / STERLING / CEMENT FILLED / REINFORCED / WITH ROD / 1102".     

{Approximate dimensions: tallest candlesticks - 10" H., shorter candlesticks - 8 7/8" H.,  tazza - 6" H. x 6 1/8" Diameter.}.

Wear to candlesticks includes nicks, dents, scratches, patina. One with rough surface, finish loss and residue where stem appears to have been reattached to base. Gump's candlesticks leaning and slightly loose where stems join bases. Compote with gap where top attaches to stem, causing top to tilt.
