A Group of Chinese Calligraphy Brushes, 20th Century

Comprising six boxed sets of Shao Zhiyan calligraphy brushes dating to the 1980s, including examples with goat hair, weasel hair, and mixed-hair bristles; forty-three Shao Zhiyan long-tipped Shanma brushes and other assorted brushes; forty-five Shao Zhiyan small red-hair brushes; three Japanese brushes; and forty-five small calligraphy brushes. Overall in excellent condition with exceptionally well-preserved bristles and handles, exhibiting careful long-term storage and minimal wear. The long-tipped Shanma brushes and weasel-hair brushes represent premium-quality examples highly regarded for professional calligraphy.

包括二十世纪八十年代邵芝岩毛笔套装六盒，内有羊毫、狼毫、兼毫等毛笔；邵芝岩长锋山马笔及其它毛笔四十三支；邵芝岩小红毛笔四十五支；日本毛笔三支；小毛笔四十五支。整体保存状况极佳，笔毫完整，锋颖饱满，保存良好，长期妥善收藏。其中长锋山马笔及狼毫笔均属高品质毛笔，为书法创作与收藏之佳品。
