Group of Chinese Jade and Hardstone Boxes.
The group consisting of assorted small boxes and carved hardstone items of varied form and material. The pieces include circular and rectangular examples carved from green jade and other stones, several decorated with incised or relief-carved geometric and archaistic motifs. Also included is a rounded wooden box set with a carved plaque depicting a bird amid foliage. Additional pieces include a circular jade box with stylized character motifs and small rectangular and oval examples with carved ornament. {Approximate dimensions: largest height 3 5/8 inches; width 2 1/4 inches}

Minor surface wear and natural inclusions consistent with the materials.
