Givenchy Dress and Coat. Comprising black velvet and silk cocktail dress, the velvet bodice with v-neck, long sleeves, four front buttons and side zipper over the brocaded velvet gazar silk skirt, label to back "GIVENCHY NOUVELLE BOUTIQUE PARIS", and hand inked interior label for style 3946, together with a green and red wool plaid coat, with green lining, yoke to front and back, four wood buttons, decorative cuffs to sleeves near wrists, with additional buttons. GIVENCHY NOUVELLE BOUTIQUE PARIS label, with 79 and Japanese characters to style label beneath. Circa 1980 - 1985.
{Approximate measurements, the dress: 15" Shoulders, 34" Bust, 29 1/2" Waist, 42" Length. The coat: 21 1/2" Shoulders, 46" Bust, 37" Length.}.
Condition
In good condition with minor wear overall. Dress with small tear to underarm seam, about 2" section of waist detached from bodice and zipper, and a little over half of the zipper detached from the dress. Label to coat fraying. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
