Giles Gilson Carved Figural Box with Brass, Container Form, formed as a head with a blind door on elongated hinges, revealing two shelves, right hand up as connector to upper body lid, revealing low body with large, live edge sections. Brass foot, scratch incised "Giles Gilson" to underside.
Giles Gilson (1942 - 2015), his works are represented in The Smithsonian Collection among other institutional collections.

Condition
The long turning rods feel loose. Surface wear and scratches.
