Georgian Silver Tea Urn, elongated oval form with two applied c-form handles with ridges and foliate terminates, over shaped square base with reticulated apron, over four ball and claw feet. Cover with flamiform knop. Spout with steel gauge, tap control now absent. To front of cover, a pricked falcon holding a shield in right talon, to front of urn, a pricked quartered shield probably for a member of the Worshipful Company of Butcher's or similar. Marked to neck, lion passant, letter Q, leopard's head, and King George III profile duty mark. Dated 1811.
