French Napoleon III Mantle Clock, in the manner of Barbedienne.  Comprising ebony and red marble clock with square body and stepped base, crowned with footed bowl featuring bronze lion's head handles; the body, clock face and bowl decorated with polychrome cloisonne embellishments and the bowl center with profile portrait medallion. Back of clockworks impressed P.Lthe over 733. One plate with 487 within an oval.

Good condition with minor wear overall. Some small nicks to edges, corners, minor surface scratches, patina. Bowl with chip to rim, some wear to bowl interior finish.
