Condition
In good condition overall, considering age. Surface scratches, small areas of residue to sides, inside edge of gilt portrait border, and faint tape outline to box underside. Several small flaws, nicks and hairline cracks that mostly follow birdseyes or the burlwood grain. Damage and loss to lid underside lining and to lid and bottom edges where they close and are concealed at box middle. Light crazing to portrait cover.
