Four Vintage Bisque Head Dolls, A. Marseille, Simon and Halbig, etc. Comprising of an Armand Marseille model 390 bisque head doll, back of head incised "Made in Germany / 390 / A II M," with composition body, in vintage dress; a Simon and Halbig with fixed eyes, bisque hands, back of head incised "S 12 H 1009 /DEP," in vintage dress; a large Handwerck doll, back of head incised "HANDWERCK / Germany / 6 1/2," with vintage dress, and another Simon and Halbig doll, back of head incised "S H 1019 - DEP. 15, with composition body, and in vintage dress including bracelet. {Approximate dimensions: 34 1/2" H., overall, the 1019.}.
Condition
The string is loose to the arms on the 390, all parts are present. Right hand of the 2009 with pinky finger off and glued back on, as well as loss to pointer finger, left hand. The forehead of the 1019 cracked, and glued back on. Crack partly visible and small loss of bisque material. Various surface wear, scratches, abrasions and losses to enamels, dirt to composition parts throughout, and some dirt, stains to dresses.
Note: the Simon and Halbig head is replacement on the 1009.
