Four Dutch Delft Tin Glazed Pancake Plates, comprising two pairs. The first, painted with shades of iron red, blue, ocher, manganese and green, with cell and diaper border alternating with parenthesis type stylized foliate motifs, centering a bold flowering bouquet in blue vase, within shaped border. The second, painted with iron red, ocher, manganese, green and blue with a bold floral spray to face, and with foliate and floral border. Second half, 18th Century. {Approximate dimensions: 8 7/8" Diameter.}.
Condition
Both pairs with typical flaking to borders. Loss to edge rim on one of the second pair of plates. Minor crazing to glaze and hairlines.
