Four Chinese Shanghai Wicker Bamboo Boxes. The first in the form of an oval cylindrical basket, the body decorated with vertical straight bamboo bars and horizontal wavy bands, the second in the form of similar shape and design, with a wicker fish handle, the third made with finely woven wicker bamboo wrapping a Hu form vase raised on a square flared foot, the sides featuring stylized roundels, the wasited shoulder separating the body and the flaring neck applied with bird handles, the last one made with wicker bamboo wrapping a Ding form incense burner, the globular vessel each raised on three gilded animal head and clawed feet, the body decorated polychrome weaving of geometric patterns below a keyfret band and waisted shoulder, flanked by a pair of gilded S-shaped handles, the domed cover connected to a double gourd shaped finial. {Largest height: 10.6 inches (27 cm)}.  Condition: Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
