Five Derby Porcelain Botanical Painted Dishes, comprising of a pair of shaped rim soup plates, in pattern 197, a fluted dessert dish in pattern 141, and kidney shaped dish, shell shaped dish, all painted with named botanical specimens with polychrome enamels under gilt rims. Various marked in blue or red, to undersides. Circa 1785 - 1800. {Approximate dimensions: 2" H. x 9 3/4" Diameter, the soup plates, over all.}.
Condition: Typical light and tight crazing to kidney and shell shaped dishes, both marked in iron red. Minor gilding and enamel wear and losses. Minor kiln fritting; a few short hairlines to foot, edge, etc.
