FREDRIC MICHAEL WOOD (American/CA, born 1944), Portrait of Ina Stewart, 2006, oil on canvas board, (approximate dimensions - sight: 19-1/4 x 15-1/4 inches, board: 20 x 16 inches), signed lower right; titled, signed, dated, and with artist's note on board verso. Bio: Born in San Francisco in 1944, he spent several years in France as part of a military family. His work has been showcased in prestigious exhibitions, including the Top 100 Arts for the Parks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the Salon International at the International Museum of Contemporary Masters, and both national and regional competitions held by the Oil Painters of America. Additionally, his art has been featured in the Annual National Exhibition of the Impressionists Society.
