English Regency Embroidered Shawl, the fine muslin embroidered in silk threads of many colors, with arched foliate bands, with cornflowers, roses, strawberry flowers, and undulating stems issuing leaves and flowers, with delicate gilt band to ends. Sparse star shaped mirrored sequins. The muslin composed of several pieces, joined. Circa 1800 - 1810.

Condition
Losses to one end, 3" x 7". Old restoration to one side, and with some tears and losses, loose threads.
