Empire Style Chased Gilt Bronze and Patinated Bronze Mantel Clock, the white enamelled dial in a case surmounted by Euterpe, the Muse of Music, seated, and with a trumpet in one hand, and unfurling music in her left hand, flanked by Egyptian style lion's busts, on a rectangule base surrounded by afrieze of stylized palmettes, on four acorn-form chased and patinated gilt bronze acorn form feet. The clock mechanism with silk thread and wheel, and pendulum, the finset into the arched case, with Roman numeral chapters and Arabic numbers on the quarter-hour positions. Glazed door to back. Work plate engraved T. Clock works late 20th Century.
