Eight Vintage Hazel-Atlas Cocktail Shakers in Cobalt Blue glass, with slightly raised designs printed in white, and chrome covers.  Comprising two shakers featuring drink recipes with vertical geometric surround designs, and six shakers embellished with pictorial designs, including windmills, sailboats, maritime flags, dancing sailors, fish amid sea grass, and the hunt on horseback with hounds.  Five of the shakers with dome-shaped covers, four of them stepped, and one shaker with slightly curved cover, all six of these with off-center, raised spouts with press-on caps; plus two shakers with raised central bottle pourers, tapering to one curved and one trenched cover body shape.  Not marked.

Minor wear overall. Includes surface scratches, a couple of shakers with small nicks, light rubbing to base undersides and some base and cover edges, residue, some metal covers with shallow dents, light pitting, patina. Cover of the hunt shaker with more noticeable wear, pitting, finish losses to edge, some white print with light rubbing, discoloration, the latter more noticeable to dancing sailors. Please ask the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
