Eight Sevres Style Porcelain Cabinet Plates. The hard paste porcelain pink ground scalloped plates with gilt rims, cisele gilding surrounding reserved floral clusters, the faces with scalloped pink bands surrounding a bust length portrait of: Madame Deshoulieres, Damesse d Angouleme; Countess de Provence; Ninon de L Enclos; Damesse du Maine; Madame Victoire; Damesse de Bourgogne, and Madame Du Barry. Gilt crown, interlocking Ls in outline; over overglaze blue stylized crown, interlaced Ls, and faux date letter L. Circa 1880-1900. {Approximate dimensions: 9 1/4" Diameter.}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Condition: Very good condition, the cisele gilding with minor chips; minor losses to edge gilding; minor surface wear and scratches to portraits. A few black dots to surfaces.
