'Drawings,' 1948 portfolio [incomplete] consisting of ten offset lithographs, all untitled, from American artists James Budd Dixon (1900-1967), John Hultberg (1922-2005), Walter Kuhlman (1918-2009), and George Stillman (1921-1997). [approximate dimensions - image (each): 11" x 8 1/2", sheet (each): 12 3/4" x 10 1/8"]. Three each by Hultberg and Stillman, two each by Dixon and Kuhlman. All are signed in pencil on lower right.

Printer and publisher: Eric Ledin, Mill Valley, CA. The Drawing portfolio features works by six artists, Richard Diebenkorn, James Budd Dixon, John Hultberg, Walter Kuhlman, Frank Lobdell, and George Stillman, who studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and later exhibited together as the "Sausalito Six." The portfolio was created as a fundraising project to support the Seashore Gallery of Modern Art in Sausalito.

All sheets are unframed. Sheets are toned, images are adhered individually onto another sheet, stained at upper area due to adhesive.
