Theodor Seuss (Dr. Seuss) Geisel (American, 1904-1991), "Plethora of Fish," serigraph on panel, [approximate dimensions - sight: 24 1/4" H x 36 1/8" W], numbered 198/850 in ink and signed 'Dr. Seuss' in plate at lower right. "Plethora of Fish" was printed in a limited edition of 850 in 2004, from an original pencil and gouache painting Geisel created for his first book after WWII, "McElligot's Pool" in 1947. It contains over 85 individual hand-pulled silk-screened colors. Notes: This lot includes a Certificate of Authenticity from The Chase Group along with "The Art of Dr. Seuss, A Retrospective and National Touring Exhibition" booklet.
