David Hostetler (American, 1926-2015), Jazz Woman I, 2000, wood sculpture consisting of Ohio wood oak, Jack's wood, [approximate dimensions - overall: 41" H x 20" W x 9" D], signed and dated towards the bottom; inscriptions underneath: numbered 279, 'To Marty & Lee, With Love David.' 'April 2000. "Jazz Woman I" Ohio White Oak - Jack's Wood, 41" H 20" Wide, David Hostetler, Age 73, Athens, Nantucket." Notes: This lot includes an invoice and a letter from the Hostetler Gallery, photos of the sculpture with information on the back, and a couple of artist's pamphlets.
Sculpture has weight, satin finish, surface dust and dirt, some abrasions, and handling wear.
