Continental Baroque Style Walnut Marriage Chest. Top and front divided into two panels; carved in low relief with two large flowerheads between straight foliate bands, above the later, associated base. Steel hinges, escutcheon.
{Approximate dimensions: 29 1/4" high x 59 1/4" wide x 23 5/8" deep.}.
Condition
Long scratch to top; front separated from another piece of furniture, and inset into the chest. The remainder of the chest has significant surface wear, abrasions, and scratches, patination to hardware.
