Collection of Vintage Glass Bird and Bugle Christmas Ornaments, Western German. Retailed by F.A. O. Schwartz, New York. Approximately 40 birds, most with spring form legs terminating in white metal tree clips, and some with brushes to tails; and nine trumpet-form examples. Painted in various hues. Mid 20th Century.

Condition
Losses to filament tails, patination, minor discolorations, wear. Bird with tail and clip broken off, trumpets lacking ornament caps. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
