Collection of Antique Small Silver Boxes. Comprising Chinese round repousse box, Thomae Co. round thread case with "Charles" to lid and gilt wash interior, Continental silver engraved giltwash pillbox, round sterling box with blue and white stripe guilloche lid, Art Deco period compact with black and red enamel to lid, engraved oval pillbox with enamel faux turquoise to cover; two small silver-plated rectangular boxes. Most with marks, some mysterious or rubbed. {Approximate dimensions: Largest is the Chinese box 1 1/2" high x 2 1/4" diameter.} {Approximate weight not including rectangular boxes: 362 grams.}.
Condition
Some wear and use throughout, silver-plated boxes with loss to plating.
