New York Classical Japanned Painted Center Table. Ebonized table with parcel gilt throughout; round top painted with figural interior scene, the border with grapevine motif, on turned pedestal base supported by four claw feet on casters, protective plexiglass top included. Circa 1830. {Approximate dimensions: 30" high x 37 1/4" diameter.}.
Condition
Significant rubbing and surface wear to ebonized and gilt finishes. Gap to seam in top. The top slightly loose on the base.
